Our use of your information
Generally we only use or disclose your information where necessary and in order to provide you with the product or service you have requested. We may also use it for the group's internal business purposes such as research and product development; credit scoring; staff training; conducting market or customer satisfaction research; maintaining a relationship with you, and assessing your future applications for products or services provided by us. Preventing and investigating crime or fraud to protect your interest and Allstate Home Loans interest along with fulfilling our legal requirements (e.g. disclosure to law enforcement agencies or the courts).
We may use your information to tell you about other financial products and services we believe may meet your needs. You can notify us at any time if you do not want to receive these offers.
Our disclosure of your information
Like many financial service organisations we outsource some of our functions to specialised service providers (for example, we use mailing and printing houses). We may also disclose your information to IT providers, professional advisers, account holders and operators, and (in the case of loan products) credit reporting agencies, valuers, introducers, insurers, guarantors, debt collection agencies and government authorities. When your information is disclosed to those organisations it remains the property of Allstate Home Loans and is protected under our agreements with them. We will also disclose your information when required to by law. In the case of shareholders, personal information is disclosed to our share registry service provider.
